We’re thrilled to announce that our new app is officially available for download in the app store! We believe great customer service starts with intuitive interfaces that make it easy for you to perform basic account maintenance anytime, anywhere. With our new app, you can check your account balance, view previous statements, monitor your electricity usage, and more.
Your Account At a Glance
Once you sign into the Energy Texas app, you’ll be greeted by a home screen that offers a helpful account overview – your current plan, kilowatt-hour (kWh) usage, and previous and current balances. From here, you can pay your bill or opt into autopay and paperless billing.
In addition to making everyday account tasks easier, the app also connects you to customer service via text or phone. Just click the text bubble or telephone icon at the top of the home screen.
Accept Reward Offers & See Your History
Accessing your reward info is a cinch in the Energy Texas app. Click the Rewards tab at the bottom of the screen to check out the monthly drawing (which is always FREE to enter, meaning you don’t have to spend any of your hard-earned stars to participate each month) and redeem rewards.
You can also view your reward history by selecting the relevant tab. Wondering how many stars you earned for opting into autopay or paperless billing? You can see that here. Every time you pay your bill on time – which is a certainty if you choose autopay – you’ll see rewards added to your history.
*Hint: Opting into energy-saving programs like Peak Perks will add some sparkly stars to your reward account.
Keep a Close Watch on Your Usage Patterns
Curious about how your electricity usage changes over the year? Or perhaps you made some energy-efficient upgrades recently and want to see how much your usage decreased. Just click the Usage Summary box at the bottom of the home screen to see your monthly kWh hour expenditure.
